How can chiropractic care benefit my dog?
Our fur babies have biomechanical and spinal needs too! When you bring your dog to New Life Chiropractic and Wellness to see Dr. Jennifer Vaccaro, you can be assured that your “best friend” will get the best care for regular wellness check-ups or whether they are hurt or injured, chiropractic care can benefit your beloved pets.
While living an active lifestyle may be enjoyable, it requires top spinal health and flexibility. Many veterinarians now recommend chiropractic care to treat injuries, restore mobility and relieve pain in animals, particularly in aging pets, working dogs, or those involved in intense obedience and agility training.

Chilolo’s Story
Chilolo is a 6-year-old French Bulldog who sustained a multilevel disc herniation rendering him completely paralyzed in his hind quarters with loss of bowel and bladder control.
His family first took him to the veterinarian who told them their options were a $15,000 operation with no guarantee of complete recovery or to euthanize. The family sought a second opinion and brought Chilolo to see Dr. Vaccaro at New Life Chiropractic and Wellness.
In the first few weeks, Chilolo was seen daily to restore sensory response to stimuli. Once feeling was restored then the motor skills began to return. Within a month he was up and walking. Over the following two months, treatment frequency decreased as his physical improvements increased. With a variety of therapies, along with biomechanical, and neurological corrections, the Frenchie that was scared, shaking, and immobilized when he presented to the office was now running and energetic and back to full function.
His rehabilitation was made possible by the commitment of his family to his recovery.
